Aging Two years in medium toasted American oak casks which contribute spicy aromas and flavours. The wine was then aged in the bottle, acquiring stability and complexity.

Soil type Although Rioja is a small region, it has heterogeneous soils with a balanced structure, alluvial terrains with a harmonic composition of sand, lime and clay, rounded stones and slightly alkaline with active limestone between 7% and 15%. Little organic materials and nitrogenous substances. Low level of nutritional elements and low hydric availability during the Summer.
