 Tasting Notes: Dulcinea, this deep red Merlot has an intense nose of dark fruits like blueberries, with a touch of mint. Pleasantly smooth and lively on the palate with a natural sweetness from the grapes, medium-bodied and round with soft tannins on the finish. Enjoy especially with BBQ, Latino foods or roasted veggies, serve chilled, on the rocks or add some strawberries or blueberries. |

Dulcinea was exclusively developed for Vinaio Imports under the guidance of Cesar Baeza, Chilean Enologist who has developed many successful wines during his long career in the United States and abroad.

He worked with the winery in Chile to vinify and bottle Dulcinea so that Vinaio would have a wine naturally sweetened by the grape juice, with no sugar added. Special technology is used to prevent refermentation of the semi-sweet wine.

Dulcinea, unlike so many semi-sweet wines on the market that use a generic, ordinary wine base, uses a quality varietal wine for its base, such as a full-bodied Cabernet with distinctive varietal character. The same goes for the Merlot and the two Moscatos.

The Dulcinea wines lend themselves to all kinds of fun combinations by just adding fruits such as peaches, apples, strawberries or lemons, along with spritzers of any kind.
